Jessica Brown


Statement
Background
Jessica has conducted motions, trials and appeals at every level of court in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Provincial Court, the Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Jessica has also acted as advocate for clients through alternative dispute resolution methods.
During law school, Jessica’s studies were primarily focused on family law. She competed in the Walsh Family Law Moot, volunteered at the Ontario Court of Justice as family duty counsel, and worked as a summer law student in the Ministry of the Attorney General’s Family Responsibility Office.
Jessica has received several awards and accolades, both during law school and while in private practice. She has co-authored papers for various professional development programs and has contributed to family law publications on issues relating to support and setting aside domestic contracts.
